hello stranger...



I am Lia Paugsch, a fine art photographer from Slovakia, living near the High Tatras. Dreamy, somewhat fleeting, emotional photography has become my calling card over the past few years. I like to use light to write stories that move somewhere between reality, fairy tales and legends - stories that may have happened or may have been dreamed. I am fascinated by the mysterious and wild connection of human with nature and animals.

I enjoy creating.

But I like to wander with my Czechoslovakian wolfdog Wolf.

The photos show students of Roma origin in their hand-sewn historical costumes. The school created a calendar and the proceeds from the sale supported the treatment of the smiling boy Adam, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
