About me

MY EPIC MAGICal journey

hey stranger,

I have been working as a fine art photographer since 2017. Dreamy, fleeting, emotional photography has become my calling card in recent years, but my love for creative work goes far beyond this area. I enjoy writing stories with light, colors and ink, which may have happened and may have been dreamed and move somewhere between reality, fairy tales and legends. I am fulfilling my childhood dream and illustrating my first full-color children's book for author Ellie Šedivá.

I am from Slovakia, where I have lived near the High Tatras for over 10 years with my husband Loro. We recently lost our beloved Czechoslovakian Wolfdog named Wolf (Vlk in slovak language), with whom we spent 11 wonderful years. I am a true cat lady and have a white tomboy named Peeves (Duch Zloduch - who has a black spot in the shape of a sitting cat, just like our deceased black tomcat Zloduch) and a furry witchy black cat named Devil (Čertík). We recently had a new member in our household, little White Fang.

When I first saw Czechoslovakian wolfdog in the forests of the Muránska Planina 16 years ago, I had no idea that he was our national breed - a cross between a Carpathian wolf and a German shepherd - and I called him the Elf Dog. He impressed me so noble and wildly. Since childhood, I had a common childhood desire for a dog to fall asleep at my feet in bed, until I felt a strong bond with Wolf, as if he were my animal demon. White Fang and I are still forming this bond.

Together with the Wolf, we loved discovering the beauty of nature, wandering through the forests, lying in the grass, listening to the birds singing, wading through streams and swimming in lakes, telling stories by the fire and falling asleep to the rustling of trees. I am fascinated by the mysterious and wild connection between human and nature.

In addition to nature, I have also loved wandering in the realm of fantasy since I was a child, and during my wanderings through the forests, I tried to catch a glimpse of fairies in addition to wolves. This has stayed with me to this day, and thanks to artistic creation, I can move to another world, which is on the border of the real one.

I depict the world as I see it. I try to capture beauty, soul and a bit of magic, so that my work has the power to delight, take you to magical places, give you energy and leave you with a feeling like after reading poetry.
